The Davenport & Harris community were very professional yet caring. Our funeral director Mr. Brian B. was very kindhearted towards our family and efficient with the planning. Even after unexpectedly having to move up the date of our loved ones service, Mr Brian assured our family of a service that would honor our loved one and Mr. Brian made that happen! Funeral Director Brian Byers, Administrative Assistants Mr. Sanmorteeno Battle and Brenda Clark, and the entire staff of Davenport and Harris, provided our family excellent service. The communications were professional, and they provided comfort to our family during this difficult time. All requests made by our family were not just granted but were more than what we expected. Davenport and Harris assisted our family with two (2) other occasions in 2010 and 2017. The customer service has been and continues to focus on providing outstanding customer service. The staff at Davenport & Harris worked with my family on 3 separate occasions and displayed professionalism and a caring spirit at the same time. We could not have received better service from another company in our time of grieve. They helped to make the process smooth and went above and beyond to try and honor our requests especially during the height of COVID-19. Mr. Sterling and his staff are top notch!

Davenport & Harris has been so much of a blessing to me and my family for years. My father, mother-in-law and in 2019 all were handled by this funeral home. They are gracious and caring before, during and after the funeral. If you want a funeral handled excellence and compassion, this is where you need to be. It does make it easier to get through a difficult situation. I have experienced it.
